Pricing Data Manager
Responsible for functions involved in maintenance, analysis, and reporting of pricing activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for price optimization and revenue enhancement through the analysis of buying programs, discounting, and quoting practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and product management to align pricing strategies with overall business goals and initiatives.
- Lead the process of setting and approving prices for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with pricing guidelines, profitability targets and competitive positioning.
- Manage and approve quotes in Salesforce and JDE for the sales organization.
- Assist with the periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial close process with a focus on performance metrics and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies and track performance against targets.
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the pricing data.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous process improvements in pricing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while effectively communicating pricing strategies, insights, and recommendations.
- Preform analysis to determine optimal pricing for products by evaluating and considering production costs while considering competition, regulations and market conditions.
- Mentor and develop Pricing Analyst.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
- Education requirements BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 5+ years in pricing, financial reporting, and analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience or knowledge of JDE Enterprise 9.2 a plus
- Experience with analytical software a plus
