Contract Recruiter (3-Month Minimum Term)

 

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is the world’s largest manufacturer of automated doors, high-performance doors, residential doors, and dock systems.

 

We are seeking a Contract Recruiter to support our Pedestrian Door Solutions Business Area for a minimum duration of three months.

 

This role will focus on recruiting Installation Technicians across the U.S. and Canada as well as, hourly professional roles. The position will be hybrid based in Monroe, NC and reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems North America, Pedestrian Door Solutions.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for Installation Technicians and hourly professional roles across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand key skills, experience, and staffing needs.
  • Source candidates through job boards (Indeed), resume databases, professional networks, and social media.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone and Teams screens, and schedule interviews for hiring managers.
  • Assist in job offer processes, including compensation negotiations and pre-employment onboarding.
  • Utilize and navigate the company’s HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) to create job requisitions, manage postings, and ensure compliance with hiring processes.
  • Support talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Minimum of three (3) years of recruiting experience, with a strong focus on skilled trades, service, or blue-collar industries.
  • Experience recruiting for skilled labor roles, manufacturing, or service-based positions.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), onboarding tools, and HRIS platforms; experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Strong sourcing skills utilizing resume databases, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across different levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
