Managing Director Roger
We are looking for a Managing Director, reporting to the Head of Digital Access Solutions for CE, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for our newly acquired part of ASSA ABLOY, Roger, with the ultimate goal to achieve profitable growth. The core business for Roger are Electronic Access Control projects. The goal is to deliver periodic financial results, as well as developing the company from the commercial and operational point of view.

What would you do as our Managing Director
As our Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for Roger, an electronic access control system (EAC) company in Poland. Roger is located in Gościszewo with offices in Gdansk, has 113 employees, and is the market leader in integrated security solutions in Poland. Roger is a newly acquired part of the ASSA ABLOY group as of December 2024.
You would also:
- Have P&L responsibility for Roger
- Deliver financial and performance targets
- Drive the pricing strategy
- Drive and support the integration process after joining ASSA ABLOY
- Recruit, train, develop and motivate employees to ensure business objectives are met
- Cooperate with other country or regional heads within CE Region to ensure best practices are shared, particularly in relation to innovation, and to support potential growth opportunities outside of Poland
- As a member of the EAC leadership team help define the strategic direction for the region
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in business management; MBA or master’s degree a plus.
- Has an extensive commercial experience, preferably within Electronic Access Control business, gained in a bigger organization.
- Has ability to build processes from scratch and experience with change management.
- Has excellent communication and presentation skills as well as fluency in Polish and English (spoken and written).
- Is prepared to travel between our offices in Gdańsk and Gościszewo on a weekly basis and occasionally within other regions in Poland.
