What’s new?

Remote emergency open all doors on lockers

This enables all doors on a connected locker system to be released at once when an external ‘Doomsday’ type switch is pressed.

This allows users to quickly access all items in the locker without requiring individual users to log in.

• This is designed to be used in emergency situations, such as when police officers need to respond urgently to an emerging crisis
• When items are removed, the Traka Touch display will show the current status of any item and log activity and events.
• If there is an item with a critical fault, Traka Touch will still prevent access to the faulty item(s) and will notify the user that some items cannot be released.
• When triggered, any logged in users will be automatically logged out.

Traka Touch will remain in emergency release mode until all doors have been closed and the switch reset. The Locker must be reset to resume normal operations.

This functionality means you can respond much faster to emergency situations where needed and avoid unnecessary delays.

What’s improved?

Support code enhancement

Users requiring a temporary access PIN to gain access to Traka Touch must now provide additional security information in the form of a passcode.

• Support Code information, including the new passcode, can be accessed on Traka Touch as part of the power-up process and within the Administration area of the software.
• This Pass Code can be entered in the Support Access area of the Support portal by authorized users to enable the creation of the temporary access PIN.
• Passcodes can be regenerated in the Support area of Administration to ensure the most up-to-date codes are being used.

This strengthening of the temporary access PIN functionality ensures that at each step of the process, only authorized users with appropriate access rights can generate the temporary access PIN.
