What’s new?
New user interface
The user interface has been updated to a cleaner and more inclusive design with simplified navigation for easier usability.
The responsive UI works across multiple browsers and device types for easy access and control on the move.
Temporarily assigned locker compartments
Allows users to temporarily store items, such as personal effects, in a locker compartment on a short-term basis.
This feature is now fully managed in both Touch standalone and TrakaWEB, allowing for greater flexibility.
Locker pairing
Enables pairing of two compartments so that if the first is opened, the second will also open.
This means customers can speed up access to complementary items such as a radio and its battery or a scanner and handheld printer.
What’s improved?
- Removal of hardcoded credentials – provides an additional layer of security by enabling specific credentials to ensure the security of communications between different components.
- Updates to First-in, first-out (FIFO) and Advanced FIFO such as:
- Reinstating the search facility so customers will be able to see at any moment who has removed which items.
- Removing the “Do you want to take/return another item?" to speed up the return of items to a locker
- Improving “Unrecognized Item” behavior to help eliminate issues occurring from user error
