MAJOR NEW FEATURES
Item pairing
TrakaWEB v3.16 introduces the item pairing functionality to TrakaWEB giving customers the ability to relate one iFob/Item to others and control access based on availability of master iFob/Item(s).
The two forms of pairing included in this release are for key management only:
1 - Lockout Pairing
Key Pairing: 1:1 pairing where you determine which primary item must be replaced before a secondary item can be removed.
Reverse Pairing: 1:many pairings whereby if you reverse pair an iFob, the system will check the status of all iFobs that are paired to the reversed iFob and will not allow access to the reversed iFob if one or more of the paired iFobs are out of the system.
2 - Exclusive User Pairing
This replaces the previous Vault pairing functionality and is based on One-to-One pairing; when you remove one paired item from the system, you will not be able to remove the second.
When one item from the pair is out of the system, a different user can remove the other one.
802.1X support
This release introduces the ability to enable IEEE802.1X wired network authentication on Traka Touch devices using the Mk3 Touch Control Board (iMX28 boards are not supported).
This supports the EAP-TLS authentication method only as this is one of the most secure methods of authentication. This change provides banking customers and other high security environments with an additional level of security for their Touch device network.
SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
Item Access by Item Access Group report
A new report has been created that details the Item Access each Item Access Group has. This provides an instant picture of what access rights are assigned to each Item Access Group.. This is especially important for supporting audits of system access rights, especially on large system deployments.
Removal of the maximum systems warning
Removed the warning message that would previously display in the Admin App, even though no attempt had been made to add any further systems and Licence details were valid & current.. This eliminates the display of incorrect and confusing warnings.
INTEGRATIONS AND API ENHANCEMENTS
Allowance across systems (API support)
The ability to create, update and delete Item Access Groups (IAGs), including the addition and removal of Items from these IAGs via the API. This ensures that integration users can maintain IAGs and access to them directly via the integration rather than through TrakaWEB.
