Event details:

🌍 NEC - Birmingham, UK
 đź“Ť Stand #254

Our team of experts will be guiding attendees through hands-on demonstrations which show how key, and asset management is impacting today’s supply chain and logistics operations.

Lee Payne, Market Development Manager, emphasises the importance of optimising operations to meet rising consumer demands. He notes that effective key and asset management is crucial for the safety and efficiency of warehouses and distribution centres.

Among the technology Traka will be displaying the DockSafe solution, which reduces the likelihood of trucks leaving a loading bay prematurely by locking the keys in a cabinet until cargo loading has been completed and both the truck and cargo bay door have been closed. The solution integrates with existing access control and loading bay controllers to streamline the process and safely store shared vehicle keys. Several variants of DockSafe will be demonstrated bringing the solution to life with the shutter door to visualise how the technology works in harmony with a warehouse’s existing platform.

Additionally, Traka will be debuting its innovative Flexible Asset Detection Locker Solution. This cutting-edge solution simplifies asset management by using advanced RFID technology to eliminate the need for traditional inserts and reader brackets. It offers significant cost savings, improves operational efficiency, and ensures accurate tracking of shared assets like scanners, laptops, and tablets.

These solutions, which are used in warehouses worldwide, securely store a company’s most widely used assets and can include features like curfews so that managers are notified when a key or asset hasn’t been returned. They can also charge individual assets like scanners, tablets, radios, and laptops so that when employees remove one, the system will prioritise the asset that’s most charged. Additionally, both key cabinets and device management lockers can be programmed with fault logging so that if a device or a vehicle has an issue, the system can remove that item from circulation until it’s been serviced.
