HR Generalist

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a high energy, employee focused, hands on HR Generalist to join our team in Tulsa, OK.  This position’s primary responsibility will be payroll administration and benefits administration but will also include other HR functions.

What you will be doing:

  • Addresses employee concerns and issues by collecting all relevant information, researching solutions, identifying best possible solution, expediting selected action(s), and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Coordinate the ASSA ABLOY annual employee survey and participate in communication of results, and planning and execution of actions as appropriate.
  • Plan, organize and execute morale and recognition events for employees.  These could include a company picnic, team-building activities for a department, special recognition days, etc.
  • Assist employees with questions about company policies and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, PSG policies and procedures and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
  • Serve as backup for the Payroll and Benefits team.
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.

The skills and experience you need:

Education: 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Human Resources or related field with HR experience.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of HR experience a must.  Manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years of payroll experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements for both payroll admin and benefits admin.

Other:

  • Excellent attention to detail is required.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills 
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills.
