As our SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

Summary

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Program Management and Oversight

  • Manage multiple projects’ scope, timelines
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including milestones and resource allocation
  • Oversee multiple programs or large-scale initiatives
  • Assess project risks; evaluate costs, planning, and alternatives
  • Provide direction and guidance to other program managers
  • Ensure all projects within the program align with organizational goals
  • Manage program budgets and resources effectively
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Align activities between internal customers (business development, product management) and product engineering teams
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration across teams
  • Build customer confidence and establish long-term partnerships
  • Coordinate with Product Owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur within teams

 

Agile Practices

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each iteration
  • Coordinate iterations, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups when necessary
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks as needed
  • Organize and facilitate iteration planning meetings
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices
  • Drive organizational efficiency and promote a culture of continuous improvement

 

 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management or related field
  • Min. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in program or project management is expected
  • Proficiency in managing large-scale projects and programs using methodologies like Agile or Waterfall
  • Experience with Agile principles; Scrum Master certification (e.g., PSM, SAFe® SM, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience in the field of electronic or RFID is highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of electronic assembly and packaging methods (considered an asset).
  • Understanding of inlay and/or label assembly processes (considered an asset)

 

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and plan effectively
  • High self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills

 

Language Skills

  • Fluent in spoken and written English
     

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Knowledge in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge in Agile tasks management tools (JIRA, MIRO or similar)

 

Work Environment

  • Comfortable in working in an international team and in a global networking environment

 

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems
  • Travel and fieldwork including international travel, therefore employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Malaysia.
