Biosite is expanding the team and is looking for a Stores Operative to support its growth journey. Joining the Stores team, the Stores Operative, reporting directly to Stores Team Leader, will play an essential role in Production – Shopfloor department to drive profitable and sustainable growth, whilst upholding company values.

About role of Stores Operative
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory records in our MRP system.
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing deliveries.
- Assisting in stock audits to prevent discrepancies.
- Coordinating with Purchasing Manager to ensure goods are ordered in timely manner.
- Preparing stock orders based on demand forecasts and reorder points.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Reporting any stock-related issues or discrepancies to management.
- Picking Customer Orders and Manufacturing Orders including stock movement between the locations.
- Assisting in preparation of customer orders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Forklift license (not mandatory) license course can be provided.
