Responsibilities
The position will be a key part for our local Finance team, working closely on planning, analysis and execution including financial controlling and reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal procedures, while providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Supporting Country Finance Manager in all the management reporting / ad hoc reports.
- Month-end reporting & HFM reporting.
- Meet critical business and corporate deadlines such as the monthly and yearly closing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Perform financial analysis and trend analysis. Perform monthly variance analysis and GAP analysis to annual budget, including graphs, charts, and root cause analysis.
- Forecasting and budgeting.
- Project margin monitoring and controls. Suggesting activities for project margin improvements. Quoted margins vs Actual margin analysis and reporting.
- Evaluation of current processes and policies and making new procedures for effective business performance and controls.
- Compliance with all the applicable laws and regulations (VAT law, Corporate Taxation, CbCR, ESR).
- Reconciliations – Review Bank reconciliations, Customer reconciliation and suppliers’ reconciliation.
- Support all departments (mainly sales and service), providing actionable analysis and driving strong controllership and business partnership.
- Ensure that sales operations adhere to financial, legal requirements and internal procedures
- Inventory valuation, costing, trend analysis, aging and MTPT control.
- Petty cash control.
- Making financial feasibility studies.
- CAPEX budgeting and evaluation of all the CAPEX items.
- Financial evaluation / business simulations / supporting calculations of main KPIs.
- Preliminary control of the costs, revenues, and cash flows, including optimization proposals/tracking.
- Support in system implementations (ERP/other systems).
- Fixed assets register maintenance & controls.
- Provide on monthly/quarterly and annual bases all inventory related analysis and support around gross inventory, provisions, aging, and material throughput time, including driving discussions with the operations and business area teams, and making recommendations as appropriate.
What we are looking for:
- Working experience in manufacturing industry is nice-to-have.
- Total working experience of 4-6 years
- Communication skills: fluency in Polish and English is a must.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Excel at advance level, Power BI.
- Hands-on person with a multitasking profile, resilience and ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Tech-savvy person with ability to work in various systems, create new tools for internal analysis, quick learner.
- Experience in HFM, with ERP & system implementation is nice-to-have
