Service Sales Executive – Aftersales Department

 

Role Overview:

 

As a Service Sales Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the UK Aftersales Department by driving the conversion of maintenance contracts and proactively selling maintenance agreements to our client base before warranties or existing contracts expire. You will engage directly with end users to discuss service contract options, ensuring they receive the best solutions tailored to their needs.

 

This role demands a high level of accountability, requiring you to take ownership of contract renewals, order processing, and service invoicing. You will also be expected to drive new ideas to enhance the service offering and improve efficiency in line with business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of pursuing and securing maintenance contract renewals before expiration.
  • Engage in direct communication with end users to discuss service contract options, benefits, and upgrades.
  • Process purchase orders received from customers efficiently.
  • Prepare and compile maintenance contract renewals and new agreements.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding contracts to secure commitments.
  • Investigate and resolve any delays in invoicing service contracts by liaising with customers and credit control.
  • Maintain the quote register and actively follow up on outstanding orders.
  • Identify and report on new systems that have come out of warranty, reaching out to prospects with maintenance service offerings.
  • Collaborate with other Service Sales Executives to ensure all contracts are accurately loaded, updated, and maintained in the SVMX system within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Manage Automotive Service Sales invoicing efficiently and accurately.
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance the service offering and optimise processes.
  • Proactively contribute new ideas to increase customer engagement, contract conversion rates, and overall service efficiency.
  • Provide backup support to the Aftersales Department during team absences or leave.
  • Carry out other administrative duties as required to support the Commercial Services Manager.

  • Familiarity with invoicing, purchase order processing, and service contract administration.
  • Experience with SVMX systems (or similar CRM/service management platforms) is desirable.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Passion for innovation and process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.
