Senior Project Manager

What you would do as our Senior Project Manager

You would leverage your expertise in project management to develop and run interesting projects for the Docking Product Unit for Business Segment Industrial (BSI) at Assa Abloy Entrance Systems. You would work closely with our innovation, design, production, and installation teams to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and performance while making sure that the project meets their deadline.

 

You would also:

  • Manage multiple development projects to scope and budget so that each project member always knows what, why and when their input is needed.
  • Work with projects that combine mechanics, electronics, and heavy steel products and contribute to project planning including scope, objectives, costs and staffing requirements ensuring also technical feasibility and high quality of the project outcomes.
  • Lead the industrialization part of the NPI/CPI/PPI projects from manufacturing perspective and facilitate communication and ensure that all relevant parties have the information they need to succeed.
  • Work closely with BSI Equipment project teams for new product developments and drive execution of the projects in Operations in accordance with the plan of the entire product innovation projects.
  • Have a tight grip of the status of the project, and ensure that project documentation is up to date and coordinate and collaborate actively with product managers and other stakeholders in the ASSA ABLOY group to align with the product roadmaps.

 

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has PMP certification or any other project management certificate will be a strong asset.
  • Is a brave, development-oriented colleague with a systematic approach and good project management skills.
  • Has good interaction, communication and negotiation skills, with ability to inspire others and has strong customer centric mindset.
  • Has collaborative mindset, is able to take the team together and solve conflicts when required and is self-initiative, problem-solving ability and a responsible approach to doing.
  • Has experience of working on projects that involve heavy metals, mechanics, software and electronics.
  • Has fluent English as it will be first language.
