As part of our commitment to transparency and equality, Traka ASSA ABLOY is pleased to share our participation in the Australian Government's Workplace Gender Equity Agency (WGEA) report on the gender pay gap. This report is a legal requirement for Australian companies with 100 or more employees, which aims to promote greater transparency and accountability in the workplace.
The WGEA report requires companies to calculate and report their gender pay gap data, which is then publicly disclosed. For the first time in 2024, the agency will release company-specific gender pay gap figures, starting with the median gender pay gap figures of private sector companies. From 2025, the agency will also publicly report the mean gender pay gap of Australian companies with 100 or more employees.
By participating in this report, we are committed to ensuring that our employees are paid fairly and equally, regardless of gender. Our goal is to promote greater transparency and accountability in the workplace, while also driving business success and creating a positive work environment for all employees.
